I3MS introductory session

Last 27th of January took place the first session of the Informal Iberian and Italian Medieval Seminar (I3MS), which was a great success. We counted with the participation of graduates as well as undergraduates from the Italian and the Spanish Sub-Faculties, and even some curious came to see how the seminar looked like. To all of them: THANK YOU FOR COMING!

The session started with a short introduction, in which everyone was given the chance to talk about their backgrounds and research interests, followed by a short talk by the organisers, who told a little bit about the origins of the project, its motivation and its purposes, as well as about their own researches. After that, they asked those present about their expectations from the seminar and a graduate student volunteered to give the first presentation (more information soon, but we can disclose that it will deal with Medieval Italian and early XXth century French literature... at the same time!).

We hope that the next session on 10th February (same time, same place) will be as successful.

See you there!
